The End of the Road?
It started with a simple realization: traditional upright bikes just don't work for everyone. After years of riding, our founder began experiencing severe lower back pain and saddle soreness. A 20-minute ride became an agonizing chore rather than a freeing escape.
The doctor's advice was to "take it easy," which felt like a polite way of saying "stop riding." But giving up the outdoors, the exercise, and the freedom of cycling wasn't an option.
"I discovered recumbent trikes, and the pain vanished instantly. But there was a massive problem: every trike I found in the US cost upwards of $4,000 to $6,000."
